Dr. Ziya Kalem is a distinguished Gynecologist and Obstetrician with 28 years of clinical experience, widely recognized for his advanced expertise in reproductive medicine and women’s health. He completed his medical education at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and later obtained his specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Research and Education Hospital in Ankara in 1988. He further strengthened his academic foundation with MRCOG training at the same institution in 1992.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kalem has served in several prestigious medical institutions, including Şereflikoçhisar State Hospital, Çorum Maternity and Child Care Center, Private Ankara IVF Center, Çorum Private Hospital, and Gürgan Clinic Women’s Health and IVF Center, where he became the Medical Director of the Center for Assisted Reproductive Technologies. Since 2019, he has been part of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Center at Bahçeşehir University Hospital Liv Istinye.

He holds advanced certifications in Assisted Reproductive Technologies, including specialized training in IVF, Gynecological Endoscopy, Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy, and Gynecological Microsurgery. In 2008, he gained further qualification in Minimally Invasive Surgery from The Global Open University. His academic contributions include multiple research publications in national and international journals, as well as participation in renowned conferences such as the 6th International Urogynecology Congress and the XII Turkish-German Gynecological Congress.

During his 28-year career in obstetrics, Dr. Kalem has successfully delivered over 10,000 births and brings over 15 years of specialized IVF experience, including IVF surgical management, reproductive endocrinology, and minimally invasive procedures.
