About Dr. Kayhan Turan

 

Dr. Kayhan Turan is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon known for his expertise in robot-assisted orthopedic procedures and minimally invasive surgery. With extensive international training and a strong academic foundation, he brings advanced surgical techniques and patient-centered care to every treatment plan.

He completed his medical education at Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1992. To further refine his skills, Dr. Turan trained at the Northwestern University School of Medicine’s Sports Orthopedic Clinic in the United States, where he learned specialized techniques in shoulder arthroscopy and foot and ankle surgery.

He later advanced his expertise in complex knee arthroscopy under the guidance of renowned orthopedic surgeon Jakob Grevenstein at his clinic in Mainz, Germany.

Dr. Turan currently serves as the Medical Director of the Robotic Orthopedic Surgery Center and Turan & Turan Bone, Muscle, Joint Health Center. He is also the President of the Orthopedic Robotic Surgery Association.

His clinical focus includes robotic knee and hip replacement, joint prosthesis surgery, regenerative orthopedics, and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Turan is well-versed in the latest surgical technologies, including the kinematic approach to knee replacement, Journey II Knee Prosthesis System, and robotic joint replacement systems.
