Dr. Umit Koc

 

Dr. Ümit Koç is a distinguished surgeon specializing in gastroenterological, metabolic, and general surgical procedures. Born in 1975 in Augsburg, Germany, he completed his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine (1993–1999) and received his specialization in General Surgery at Ankara Numune Training & Research Hospital (2000–2005). He later pursued further specialization in Gastroenterological Surgery at Yüksek İhtisas Training & Research Hospital (2008–2010) and earned the title of Associate Professor in 2016.

 

Over the course of his career, Dr. Koç has worked at leading institutions including Ankara Numune Training & Research Hospital, Gölbaşı State Hospital, GATA, Ankara Yüksek İhtisas, and Antalya Training & Research Hospital. In 2019, he joined İstinye University LIV Hospital Bahçeşehir to advance his practice in metabolic and oncologic surgery, and later also became affiliated with Memorial Şişli Hospital in Istanbul.
